What is Web Site Management?
It is help when you need it the most. If you need help updating your web site to add additional products, change text, remove pages or add pages, add video or audio, or modify its entire layout, WebSiteCenter.com can provide you the assistance you need. Pay only for the time it takes us to do the update. There is no monthly fee to keep us on standby. Most web design companies charge a monthly rate for doing nothing. If you do not have any update for the next 2-3 months - you pay nothing. If all of a sudden you need to update your phone number (for example) - simply email, telephone, fax or walk in and we can make that change for you for a very nominal price. What if I already have an ongoing web site?
No problem. We will review your current web site structure and provide you with a quote on how we would go about managing it. We will also make any recommendation, if requested, as to how to improve it's structure so that it is more search engine friendly. After all, is it not the main reason we have web sites, to drive more traffic to our web site so can generate more business.
Does your web site design package comes with web site management or content management system?
No it does not. It is a separate service. However, if content management is a key part of your offline and online business, then we can build your web site based on a content management system that you can utilize to manage your web site. Please be cautioned that most, if not all, content management system of one type or another, are not search engine friendly because they are mostly database driven web pages. Search engines cannot read these types of pages due to security and vulnerability of search engine webbots when entering these types of pages. How much do you charge for web changes?
We have two pricing structure: 1) Standard Hourly Rates 1 Hour Minimum and 15 minute intervals thereafter; 2) Web Site Management Rates is billable at 15 minute increments without any minimum number of hour(s). See Web Site Management Service and Pricing Structure
When do I pay for my change request?
Prepaid Work Orders or Change Request are usually anyting over four (4) hours. If the Work Order is less than four (4) hours, the work will be completed and we will send you an invoice for the total amount which will be immediately due upon its receipt. If the Work Order or Change Request is based on Standard Hourly Rates, there will be a one-hour minimum and 15 minute intervals thereafter.
What is the turnaround time for simple to complex changes?
The standard turnaround time is four (4) hours or less. However, for simple changes, in most cases, they are done within a few minutes and even sometimes while you wait in our lobby or over the phone. All change request that is considered less than four (4) hours are considered and deemed preapproved by client. For complex changes that will require more than four (4) hours to complete will be provided first with a quote, approval and possibly prepayment of the initial cost before work can commence.
Can I make my own changes to my web site?
Of course! It is your web site so you have full control of its entire content. If you have any web design experience or have learned Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) in the past or recently, then why not. More power to you. In fact, we can even provide you some training in HTML just for reassurance purposes or as a refresher course. In this way, you can be assured that you will be modifying your web pages in the manner that is correct and proper thus in keeping with the integrity of your web site structure, especially, if search engine optimization has been applied to all web pages. Like the saying goes - you can build it any way you want but there is only one right way to finish it. I just came up with that saying...but it makes a lot of sense.
What if we want our current web site redesigned in its entirety?
No problem. If you're already an ongoing client, we will review your request and provide you with the best cost approach in redesigning your web site. In most cases, utilizing our web site management hourly rates can provide significant amount of savings since we are simply moving your current web site content from one layout to another. In any case, if your project cost analysis is better applied to one of our web design packages, we will provide you all of the options available that will best fit your need and budget. If your a new client, we will look and compare our web design package against our web site management hourly rate to see which is better priced for your pocketbook. As always, we are here to save you money so you can use the savings towards marketing your online business using other traditional marketing methods.
How can I submit my change request?
Via telephone, email, fax, in person or U.S. Postal Service snail mail. Thereafter, immediately upon receipt of your change request, a numbered Work Order will be generated and assigned to one of our certified webmaster for immediate handling.
